Owner and hospital director of Midlothian Animal Clinic, he has practiced in the Midlothian area since 1978. Dr. McFadden acquired Midlothian Animal Clinic in 1982, and built the current facility in 1988. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, he graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1966, where he was an All-American Lacrosse player. After leaving the Naval Academy, he was a naval aviator for 5 years flying P-3 sub hunters in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. In 1976, he graduated from the University of Georgia and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. McFadden’s professional goals are to provide quality small animal medicine and surgery, as well as superb client communication and service.
Living in Powhatan, Virginia, for the past 30 years with his wife Kim, Dr. McFadden is a past senior warden and vestry member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. He professionally belongs to the American Veterinary Medical Association, Central Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, is a member and past officer of the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, Richmond Academy, Veterinary Management Group and American Animal Hospital Association. He enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his two Jack Russells, Paddy and Peggy Dunn. |
