An associate of Midlothian Animal Clinic in Midlothian, Virginia, Dr. Rhoades was born in Michigan, but grew up in Northern Virginia with her parents, sister and a house full of dogs. In 1993, she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Hollins College with a B.A. in Biology and a double minor in Chemistry and History. Dr. Rhoades then attended VA/MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1997 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. (GO HOKIES!!) She practiced in a mixed animal practice in North Carolina for a year before moving to Midlothian Animal Clinic in 1998.
Dr. Rhoades lives with her daughter, Madeline, and their beloved Labradors, Bella and Cash. She enjoys playing soccer, swimming, horseback riding, traveling and baking in her spare time. Professionally, she is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Central Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, Richmond Academy and the American Animal Hospital Association. |
