“Dr. Becky”, a Richmond native, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Virginia in 1992. After completing prerequisites for admission to veterinary school at Virginia Commonwealth University, she attended VA/MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Becky received several awards including Outstanding Fourth Year Student Award, The Pharmicia/Upjohn Proficiency Award and the Richard B. Talbot Memorial Award. She was also a member of Phi Zeta Honor Society and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. After graduation, Dr. Becky completed a small animal internship with training in Oncology, Cardiology and Ophthamology at North Carolina State University Hospital, where she was voted Intern of the Year. She has been in private practice for 10 years in both North Carolina and Virginia. She joined Midlothian Animal Clinic in August of 2006. Professionally, she is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Becky lives with her husband, 3 sons, a dog, Geni, and a cat, Salem. During her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her family.
