"Dr. Becky," a Richmond native, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Virginia in 1992.

After completing the prerequisites for admission to veterinary school at Virginia Commonwealth University, she attended VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Becky received several awards, including the Outstanding Fourth Year Student Award, The Pharmacia/Upjohn Proficiency Award, and the Richard B. Talbot Memorial Award. She was also a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. After graduation, Dr. Becky completed a small animal internship with training in Oncology, Cardiology, and Ophthalmology at North Carolina State University Hospital, where she was voted Intern of the Year. She has been in private practice for 26 years in both North Carolina and Virginia. "Dr. Becky" joined MAC in August of 2006. Professionally, she is a member of the American Animal Hospital, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Becky resides in Midlothian with her husband, 3 sons, their Goldens, Lincoln and Lilly, and one cat named Jack. During her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
