Dr. Danielle Irving graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Animal Science and a B.A. in English and French, after which she went to vet school at North Carolina State University, graduating in 2009.
Originally from Chesterfield, she came back home after graduating and has held a variety of positions in the area, including general practice, shelter medicine, and high-volume spay and neuter clinics. She has learned through her own pets the value of acting early when disease occurs and, therefore, likes to put an emphasis on preventative care and nurturing the human-animal bond so pets will live long and healthy lives.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, doing handwork, and watching Disney movies.
