Dr. Tim Withers - Veterinarian

Dr. Withers is a native of Richmond, Virginia, and a 1996 graduate of the University of Virginia. (Go Hoos!)

Dr. Withers graduated from VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. During his college years, Dr. Withers, who is also an Eagle Scout, earned numerous awards, including being voted the "Most Outstanding Senior Veterinary Student" by his professors and the "Kay Daugherty Spirit Award," as voted by his classmates. After graduation, Dr. Withers worked as an associate veterinarian at a mixed animal practice in Pennsylvania. He returned to Virginia and MAC in 2005. In addition to general veterinary medicine, he has special interests in dentistry, surgery, and ultrasound.

Professionally, he is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Dental Society, Richmond Academy, and the American Animal Hospital Association. In 2011 the VVMA presented a plaque to Dr. Withers in recognition of his dedication and service to the Mentor Program for Veterinary students at the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Withers and his wife, Angela, share their home with their children, Isaiah and Isabella, their dog Sadie and their kitty, S'mores. In his spare time, Dr. Withers enjoys cooking, gardening, music, singing, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
